Amended Division One panels announced – 1/5/2023

The Arizona Court of Appeals Division One released the amended panel assignments for January 30, 2023 through June 30, 2023.

The judges on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals sit together on assigned three-judge panels—called “Departments”—for four-month intervals.  The Court has released a new organizational order assigning the panels for January 30, 2023 through June 30, 2023. This organizational order also adds a new “Department F” to Division One based on recent legislative enactments which authorized additional Court of Appeals judgeships.  Beginning January 30, the new Department assignments will be:

“P” designates the Department’s Presiding Judge
“AP” designates the Department’s Acting Presiding Judge

* Judicial vacancies on the Court may require the assignment of pro term judges to sit with Department C until such time as the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Peter Swann is filled.
