Ms. Fabian and Mr. Becke will fill the vacancies created by the retirement of Judge Campbell and the appointment of Justice Cruz to the Supreme Court.

On May 16, 2025, Governor Katie Hobbs appointed Veronika Fabian, of Coconino County, and Andrew Becke, of Yavapai County, to the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. Both Ms. Fabian and Mr. Becke were in private practice before being appointed to the bench. Their appointments are to fill the vacancies left by the retirement of Judge Jennifer Campbell and the elevation of Justice Maria Elena Cruz to the Arizona Supreme Court.
