Governor Hobbs appoints Andy Gaona to the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One – 2/6/2026

On February 6, 2026, Governor Katie Hobbs appointed D. Andrew (“Andy”) Gaona, of Maricopa County, to the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. Mr. Gaona was in private practice before being appointed to the bench. His appointment is to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Paul McMurdie.
