Governor Ducey appoints seven new Court of Appeals judges – 12/29/2022

Governor Ducey appoints seven judges to fill vacancies on Divisions One and Two of the Court of Appeals.

Before leaving office, Governor Doug Ducey appointed seven individuals to fill vacancies on the Court of Appeals due to the creation of three new “At-Large” judgeships on Division One, the creation of three new “At-Large” judgeships on Division Two, and the retirement of Judge Philip Espinosa on Division Two.

Governor Ducey appointed Michael S. Catlett, Anni Hill Foster, and Hon. Daniel Kiley to fill the At-Large Division One vacancies.  He appointed Hon. Lacey A. Stover Gard, Michael F. Kelly, and Hon. Christopher J. O’Neil to fill the At-Large Division Two vacancies.  And he appointed Hon. Jeffrey L. Sklar to fill the vacancy created by Judge Espinosa’s retirement.
