Election of new Chief Justice and Vice Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court – 11/19/2018

Justice Brutinel will become Chief Justice and Justice Timmer will become Vice Chief Justice on July 1, 2019.
Chief Justice Bales’s term as Chief Justice will end on June 30, 2019. The Justices elected Justice Brutinel to become the new Chief Justice and Justice Timmer to become the new Vice Chief Justice. These changes will be effective on July 1, 2019.
