Applications are being accepted for the vacancy on the Arizona Supreme Court created by Justice John Pelander’s retirement effective March 1, 2019. Applications are due Friday, January 25, 2019 by 3:00 pm. Once the application period closes, the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments will review the applications, interview selected applicants, and send at least three candidates to Governor Doug Ducey, who last appointed Justices Andrew Gould and John Lopez, IV to the Court two years ago. Governor Ducey will then have 60 days within which to make his selection.
